Visual computing & spatial software

Software for a
spatial world.

I’m Tomáš Sikora. I build GPU software for 3D reconstruction, rendering and spatial experiences.

An engineering practice shaped by automation and professional visual effects.

Houdini FX / Technical Artist

Engineering judgement,
under production constraints.

Alongside independent software, my work at Blue Faces focuses primarily on cloth FX and Vellum simulation, with Nuke compositing and technical shot problem-solving for long-form productions and commercials.

The work moves between artists, tools and deadlines: making a result reproducible, incorporating feedback and delivering the final image.

The practice behind the work

Different tools.
The same curiosity.

Industrial automation taught me to connect software with physical systems. Visual effects brought cameras, simulation and the discipline of image-making.

I work where those interests meet: building systems that reconstruct, render and communicate the world around us.

Education & selected student work

Where the foundations took shape.

Academic work from SPŠE Prešov and FTF VŠMU, kept clearly separate from current software and professional production.
